Sea Kayaking Dyes Inlet, Silverdale (Sun, 10-20-2013), 8.5 miles loop. Time spent 1000-1350

It was the 3rd consecutive weekend paddle that Bob McBride sponsored for the PWC.  Weather was foggy, almost no breeze, and mid 50s. We started from Silverdale Waterfront Park and went counterclock wise around the Dyes Inlet: to Chico Bay, stopped by at Linda's house for cookie treat, skipped Oyster Bay, paddled across to Tracyton, stopped for lunch at Anna Smith Park, hiked around the Anna Smith Garden, attempted to check out Baker and Clear Creek for Salmon spawning (was too shallow and could not access), and arrived back at Silverdale Boat Ramp. It was close to class 1 and near class 2 crossing to Tracyton.

In overall, it was another fun paddling event for the weekend.  I worked out quite a bit practicing multiple rolls from Tracyton to Silverdale Boat Ramp.
