Sea Kayaking from Mystery Bay State Park to Fort Flagler State park (Sun, 10-13-2013), 12.5 miles roundtrip. Time spent 1115-1630

It was the 2nd consecutive beautiful weekend.   We could not ask for a better weather.   It was a gorgeous Sunday.  It was probably the biggest crowd with a total of 15 PWCers and their friends (3 not shown).  We paddled from the Mystery Bay State Park (at Mellowstone Island),  paddled the West side of the Indian Island checking out those strange rock formations, and looped around at the Fort Flagler State Park.   It was close to class 1 and some class 2 due to wind, but everybody did well.    I also got to practice some rolls at Fort Flagler State Park.    My first roll was sort of shaky by lifting my head but did fine on the subsequent rolls.     Just to remind myself that need to keep my head low.

In overall, it was a nice drive to the Mystery Bay State Park (my first time in the area) and a paddling trip in the beautiful and relaxing area.
