Uncle visits Hawaii (26 - 31 March 2005)

Saturday, 26 March 2005.  Uncle (Sun, Nam Jun) from Korea arrived in Hawaii.  Since I was flying in from Virginia, Michelle (KyungSuk) and Craig pick them up at the airport, and brought them to their house.   I arrived in Hawaii around 0600pm and joined them.

Sunday, 27 March 2005.  It was Easter Sunday.  Uncle and we went to Michelle's house to see our mom again.  

Monday, 28 March 2005.  In the morning we went to Pearl Harbor.  They saw US nuclear submarines and US warships.  Actually,  as part of my job, during last 14 years,  I rode every submarines and surface ships in Pearl Harbor.    Then, we drove to Pali lookout or it's called "windy" spot.   We took a few pictures there, then we drove to our father's grave before going to Young Soon's house (Aunt's daughter).   We forgot to take a picture there.  We went to Kailua Beach.  It's close to "white" sand beach.   It was the first time there for us as well.

Tuesday, 29 March 2005.   We took a good rest and started late on Tue.  We drove to Ala Moana Beach Park.   Then, we went to see our mom at Michell's house since they did not see her yesterday.

Wed,  30 March 2005.  I went to back to work.  My wife took them to Michelle's house.  They went out to eat lunch at a Korean Buffet restaurant.  Aunt joined them.  But they forgot to take a camera.   After work,  Susan treated us at a local Japanese restaurant.  Then,  uncle and my sister realized that they did not take any picture with my sister's family.  So, we went to Michelle's house and took some picutres.  We were in a hurry since it was already 0800pm and uncle is leaving tomorrow.

Thur, 31 March 2005.  Uncle flew to Los Angeles.  Before going to airport, uncle realized that we did not take any pictures with our kids.  As you see on the third picture,  my wife was so busy making our breakfast and my lunch, she did not comb her hair.  She was not expecting any photo shots.  She is really beautiful as you see on my family photos (Click Here).
