"The Turkey Who Wanted To Fly"

Once upon a time, there was a turkey dressed in yellow. The turkey was born on the fourth of July. She wanted to fly. When she saw a wishing star, she closed her eyes and said over and over "I wish I could fly.” Would the wishing star work? She waited and waited until June. Then she found out that wishing stars were not true. She had an idea. She would tell her friends her wish. Then she would ask them, if any of them knew magic.  All of them said, "You would have to wait till your birthday." She could not wait for her birthday. Every night she prayed to God to let her fly, even though she was a turkey that could not fly. The night before her birthday, she prayed over and over again. After every prayer she tried to fly. When she was about to give up, she said, "Just one more time before I sleep." So she tried to fly. She was flying. She was really flying! Then she had a great party and showed her friends that she could fly!
