How my journey started:
After a leisurely family hike to Mt Townsend in Eastern Olympics Peninsula in Western Washington State during kids summer break in July 2010, I fell in love with hiking and backpacking. Since then, I have tried to hike almost every weekend, mostly rated difficult/strenuous day-hikes with the Kitsap-Outdoors Meetup and the Kitsap  Peninsula Wilderness Club (PWC),  Then, with the help by the Kitsap Peninsula Wilderness Club (PWC) members, I started cross country skiing to build leg strength and Kayaking to enforce upper torso strength, ultimately for multi-days backpacking trips. My goal is to hike many miles (10-20 miles) per day for a few days to see as much as I can during my limited day offs.
